I worked as a fieldwork coordinator in this project. I was responsible for reaching out to new respondents, translating interviews, and eventually conducting them both collaboratively and independently. This hands-on experience deepened my interest in migration, a topic that has continued to shape my academic journey. I recently completed a Master’s in Public Administration at UCL’s Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, where I was an Islamic Public Value Project graduate fellow. My research there focused on migration, family law, and the role of indigenous institutions in public service delivery, particularly in Afghanistan and Morocco.
